    Shawn Henley Chief Administrative Officer

    Shawn Henley has been a dedicated member of the Colorado recovery community since his early adult years. He maintains a strong drive to carry the message to those still suffering from untreated alcoholism and drug addiction sharing his personal experience, strength, and hope. Shawn has a continuing education in human services with a concentration on addiction studies making him a wonderful asset among our clinical team as well as patients. A Colorado native, Shawn has made his purpose to provide a solution through services provided at Red Rock Recovery Center. As Administrator of Red Rock Recovery Center, Shawn handles all administrative duties for our facility while maintaining a supportive presence among our patients.

  • Dan Henley
    Dan Henley Executive Director

    Daniel Henley has devoted his life to learning and carrying the message of hope to those afflicted by the ravages of drug addiction and alcoholism. He has worked in Drug and Alcohol Treatment in all different capacities and within different levels of care. Daniel has a passion for dedicating time and attention to get to know each patient on an individual basis, making him more effective in his role as Director of Operations at Red Rock Recovery Center. His personal experience in recovery has enabled him to understand and connect with families and clients alike. Being an advocate for the 12 step treatment model, Daniel uses his cumulative experience in the field to better help those seeking recovery and a new chance at life. At Red Rock Recovery Center Daniel maintains a great level of involvement, allowing him to uphold a high level of support throughout the patient’s stay at our program. Daniel’s mission is to bring another effective treatment model to his home state of Colorado.

  • Rourke Weaver
    Rourke Weaver Director of Business Development

    Rourke came on board as the Director of Business Development with Red Rock Recovery Center after 8 years of experience as the Colorado Chapter Manager at Phoenix Multisport. At Phoenix he helped open chapters in Denver, Colorado Springs, and California. He has lead, taught and developed programs like skiing, backpacking, climbing, and boxing and from there he helped develop the partnership program holding relationships across Colorado with Treatment Centers, Court/Government Agencies and community based programs. Being an advocate for Recovery and Recovery Support Services he has, and continues to, sit on groups like the Behavioral Health Planning Advisory Council, Colorado Heroin Project, Colorado Providers Association, 5280 High School, Denver Drug Strategy Committee and Colorado Substance Abuse Trends and Response Task Force.
    Having been sober since April 12, 2007 Rourke brings a deep passion and understanding for the struggling addict/alcoholic with him to work on a daily basis. Rourke is Native of Colorado, where he continues to reside and participate in various outdoor and active communities including Brazilian jiu jitsu, mountain biking and especially the recovery community at large.

  • Shea Kinsey
    Shea Kinsey Director of Human Resources and Compliance

    Shea Kinsey has over 10 years experience within the healthcare arena. She relocated to Colorado from Georgia in 2012. After settling in, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology at the University of Colorado, where she is currently obtaining her Master’s Degree. Shea’s experience comes from working with various facilities with emphasis on leadership, process improvement and compliance regulations. In her spare time Shea enjoys traveling, volunteer work and hanging out with her two daughters.

  • Esper Gullatt
    Esper Gullatt Chief Financial Officer

    Esper Gullatt is a talented and seasoned executive with over 30 years of experience in financial services, and
    operations. He brings a wealth of expertise with strengths in areas such as mergers and acquisitions
    (M&A), financial reporting systems, investment banking, profit and loss reporting (P&L), and both
    financial strategy and long term budgetary oversight. With an abundance of financial reporting systems
    experience, Esper has a strong understanding of various financial concepts and strategies. Esper has
    worked with small scale start –ups to large corporations, managing financial operations across an array
    of industries including manufacturing, medical services, communication, real estate, mergers and
    acquisitions and professional services. Esper is responsible for providing detailed and timely reporting
    on the financial status of the company to the Board of Directors and CEO. He manages the health of the
    capital structure of the company, including debt and equity. He is responsible for managing short term
    and long-term debt along with risk management as part of his primary duties. Esper manages the
    financial operations of the entire company, from payroll to appropriations.

  • Emily Halpin
    Emily Halpin Admissions Coordinator

    Emily Halpin relocated to Denver in 2015 to pursue a life dedicated to recovery. Emily found her passion for bringing solution to young women seeking recovery from drugs and alcohol when she became an Operations Assistant for Red Rock in 2016. She is currently pursuing her education in Addiction Counseling. Emily is a member of Denver’s recovery community, and has found her niche in sharing her experiences with others in an effort to help them find serenity and peace through the Twelve Steps.


  • Arshad William M.D.
    Arshad William M.D. Medical Director

    Dr. William received his medical degree from University of Benin College of Medicine. He was Chief Resident at the University at Harlem Hospital Center, College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia.

    Dr. William is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, board certified by the American Board of Addiction Medicine (ABAM) and Member of the Colorado Psychiatric Society.

  • Tracy Dierksen MSW, LCSW, RN
    Tracy Dierksen MSW, LCSW, RN Registered Nurse

    Tracy earned an Associate of Science Degree in Nursing from Regents College of New York in 1997. Since then she has earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Chadron State College in Chadron, Nebraska, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Social Work from Florida State University.
    Tracy’s has extensive nursing experience in the clinical setting, as well as in teaching. Her clinical experience includes working in supervisory positions in long-term care, as well as in acute psychiatric settings. Tracy has also worked with Veterans, recently she was a Nurse Case Manager and Consult Specialist in the Mental Health Clinic at the Eastern Colorado Health Care System, Veteran’s Health Administration. Tracy has worked as a Clinical Therapist in an acute psychiatric setting, where she gained experience working with substance abuse and addictions. She has also worked in outpatient settings, providing mental health and addictions therapy to a broad array of clients of all ages, ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, and sexual orientation.
    Tracy is a compassionate, empathetic person, who establishes easy rapport with her clients. She is certified as a Trauma Therapist, and is trained in EMDR.


  • Andy Sethi, MA, LPC, LAC, RN
    Andy Sethi, MA, LPC, LAC, RN Clinical Director

    Andy earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas, then continued his education in the medical field and became registered nurse.  After several years working in a variety of healthcare settings, he moved to Boulder, Colorado to complete his Master’s degree in Psychology at Naropa University.  Andy is a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Addiction Counselor, and an RN.  He has an extensive background working in the addiction treatment field.  Before becoming clinical director at Red Rocks Recovery, Andy spent five years working throughout the full continuum of care at the University of Colorado Hospital’s Center for Dependency, Addiction, and Rehabilitation (CeDAR). Andy combines his medical knowledge, a variety of therapeutic modalities, and over a decade of personal experience in the rooms of 12 step programs to provide the best possible treatment for clients struggling with substance use disorders and other mental health issues. Andy also provides individual psychotherapy in private practice where he specializes in addiction, chronic pain, trauma, and LGBTQ issues.  He is active in Denver’s recovery community and in his spare time can usually be found in the gym or at the dog park with his best pal, Rusty.

  • Sydney Duran, MSW
    Sydney Duran, MSW Case Manager

    Sydney completed her bachelors in social work as well as her masters of social work at Colorado State University. Sydney is working toward licensure as clinical social worker. Throughout her education, Sydney spent time immersing herself in the mental health field, serving youth with severe mental health disorders and cognitive abilities. Sydney has a history of working with HIV/AIDS population as well as IV drug users. This which struck her interest to begin working with those recovering in addiction. Sydney gleaned a great deal of experience working in residential treatment programs aimed at serving young adults facing criminal, mental health, and substance use issues.
    Sydney is excited to be a part of Red Rock Recovery Center which is providing an incredible learning environment not only because of their collaborative clinical team but their systemic approach to treatment as organization.
    Sydney is a Colorado native who is proud to be a CSU Ram!

  • Darrin Miller, BA, CAC II
    Darrin Miller, BA, CAC II Primary Therapist

    Darrin completed his bachelors degree in Psychology at the University of Iowa before moving to Colorado in 2010 to pursue a masters degree in Counseling at Regis University. Darrin is working toward licensure in professional counseling and addiction while maintaining his level II certification in addiction counseling. Darrin honed his skills through working with adolescents as a youth counselor before acquiring specialization in the field of addiction during his tenure in residential drug and alcohol treatment. Darrin is excited bring his enthusiasm and creativity to the Red Rock Recovery Center team to serve young adults struggling with life and addiction. Darrin is a proud alumnus of the University of Iowa who is grateful to call Colorado home!

  • Kristin Doherty
    Kristin Doherty Yoga and Meditation Instructor

    Kristin Doherty, RYT 500 created Downward Dog Upward Spirits, LLC with the sole intention of working exclusively with clients in addiction treatment centers and mental wellness facilities. Kristin’s goal and passion is to create space for clients’ healing journeys and to provide them with tools to build resiliency and regulate their nervous systems during times of stress. Yoga provides a gentle path for working through “the issues in the tissues” in order to not only live in our bodies but to thrive in the process. A comprehensive program treats the whole person, and Red Rock Recovery Center honors the mind, body, and spirit by including yoga.

    Kristin has her Master’s in Education from the University of Denver, Colorado. She is a 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance. Additional certifications include Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Y12SR.

  • Danielle Hackett, MA, LPC, LAC, CAMHN
    Danielle Hackett, MA, LPC, LAC, CAMHN Primary Therapist

    Danielle is a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Addiction Counselor and Addiction/Mental Health Nutritionist who completed her masters degree in 2008 from Naropa University in Trans-personal Counseling Psychology- Art and Gestalt therapy concentrations. Danielle is certified in Gestalt therapy, Art therapy and Addiction/Mental Health Nutrition. Danielle has over 20 years of clinical experience working in the field of substance abuse and mental health. Danielle has diverse experience ranging from infant mental health to criminology with individuals, groups, families and systems.

  • Laurie Whistler
    Laurie Whistler Primary Therapist

    Laurie completed a bachelor’s degree in social work in 2006 and then went on to complete her graduate degree in social work in 2010. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. Laurie has worked in the field of social work for over 10 years. She has worked with youth and young adults in a variety of settings including community mental health centers, a drop-in center for homeless youth, a sports/outdoors camp, schools and she has worked as an on-call crisis clinician. While working as a therapist in a small mountain town in Colorado she had the opportunity to work towards her license in addiction counseling. She began teaching DUI groups (which quickly became her favorite part of the week) and began seeing clients individually with substance use disorders. This is where she gained a passion for working with those recovering from addiction. Laurie feels privileged to be apart of the team at Red Rock Recovery Center where she is excited to see change and growth not only in the clients but in herself as well.

    Shelbey Thomas Med Technician

    Shelbey Thomas, a Colorado native, strives to find purpose in life and share it with others. She is committed to helping women fight the battle of alcoholism and drug addiction to discover a new sense of freedom. Starting with Red Rocks from the beginning, Shelbey has worked in different aspects of the treatment field and spreads the message, not only to the women here, but in her own 12 step recovery. She has the understanding of what it’s like to become hopeless and broken, now having the amazing opportunity to give her experience, strength and most important, hope to those that need it. Her passion is to create new chapters in life and to never give up.

  • Matt Holmes
    Matt Holmes Experiential Program Supervisor

    Matt has experienced the natural world as a place to find serenity and strength since he was very young. He seeks to bring this source of healing and inspiration to others with his work at Red Rock Recovery Center. Matt studied adventure education and wilderness therapy at Prescott College and is currently working to qualify as a Certified Addiction Counselor. His twelve-plus years of experience in outdoor adventure programming have included leading month-long backpacking expeditions in the Sierras and Death Valley. Some of Matt’s other interests include emergency and wilderness medicine, whitewater canoeing, and climbing; climbing is one of his most enduring passions because of the unique combination of physical and mental demands required to safely and successfully negotiate vertical terrain. He looks forward to sharing his skills and experience and continuing to learn and grow.

  • Danielle Farris
    Danielle Farris Office Manager

    Danielle was born and raised in Denver and loves the area so much she recently moved back permanently. She recently graduated with her Psychology degree from Vanguard University of Southern California and is interested in pursuing her Masters degree for addiction treatment in the near future. Red Rock has provided her with wonderful experience and exposure for future career desires. On her down time she enjoys shopping, finding new coffee shops, and hiking!
